ABOUT KELLY |
|
Kelly has been a practicing, full-service Interior Designer since 1987. She has many years of experience in residential, as well as, light commercial Interior Design, from the preliminary design and conceptual drafting phase to expediting through final installation of furnishings and accessories. From 1987 to 1998 she worked with a well known firm in La Canada Flintridge, California called “The Designing Women”. She actively participated with The Designing Women in five world famous Pasadena Showcase Houses. Since 1998 she has enjoyed working on her own. In 2004 she participated in the New West Symphony’s Ventura County Design House in Simi Valley. Kelly attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1987. She majored in Interior Design and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design. During that time, she was a member of the FIDM Honor Society and a student member of ASID. Kelly has always had an interest in Interior Design and considers it her favorite hobby as well as her career! Her designs can be considered chameleon-like as she does not follow one particular style, but rather uses her design expertise to individualize each project to the tastes and needs of the client. She also finds the designer-client relationship that grows during the process very fulfilling. Kelly is an Allied Member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). |
